Dr. Lauretta Pickett

Dr. Lauretta Pickett is the Senior Pastor of God Is Real International Ministries and Purpose Training Center in Chicago, IL. She has served in ministry since 1982, teaching and preaching across the United States. Committed to helping individuals discover and fulfill their God-given purpose, she assists pastors with discipleship and training in Prophetic Clarity and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Known for her sure word of prophecy and keen discernment in deliverance, she teaches God's Word in a way that transforms lives. She is also the founder of LEAP Consulting LLC and a blessed mother of two sons.

COVERINGS and MANTLES

APOSTLE R. D. HENTON: In 1982, after I accepted the call from God, I began soul winning and ministering. Apostle R. D. Henton counseled me and confirmed that I should obey God’s call. He periodically called to encourage me as I traveled. I enjoyed visiting and hearing him preach. He would say, “I cannot hinder you by staying here.” This was a man of God who encouraged me to fulfill the call. He called me one day and said, “I told you I would not forget you.” and began asking me to speak for Monument of Faith, where now his son, Apostle Mark Henton, is Senior Pastor.

APOSTLE C. TURNER: After years of being ordained and pastoring, I had the opportunity to work with Apostle C. Turner, who humorously provided me with a second set of credentials, saying, “I am going to cover you and broadcast on T.V that you’re not alone.” He ordained me on national television to give me endorsement. However, he immediately laughed, saying “I would love to let you work here, but I know you have to go.” Apostle Turner frequently reached out to encourage our church and would call me to preach at Liberty Temple full Gospel Church.

PASTOR E. R. ALLEN: Pastor Allen was a mentor. I would watch her on tv and be so encouraged to see a woman doing what God was showing me. I had no living example of a female minister until I met her. I would study Katherine Kuhlman, but she was no longer with us. Then I met the beautiful woman who sings “JESUS, there is something about His name.” She dressed beautifully and was so anointed. Pastor Allen’s daughter, Dr. Lynda Allen Washington, is now filming her mother’s life story and asked me to play the role of Pastor E.R. Allen. What an honor! I remember Pastor Allen laying hands on me in the ’80s, saying, “If you only knew how God will use you.”

APOSTLE CRISTDER D. BUSH: I honor and Love Apostle Bush, Pastor Carolyn Bush and his family. He has been a covering and a rock to me, my family, and church. He has been here through most of it all. He is not last because of what he means to me; it’s just the order of leaders who I met first. I met Apostle Bush in the ’90s, and even until now he is still the same. Day or night, he has wisdom. Apostle Bush has encouraged me to minister, to utilize the gifts in me. His counsel is sound. He asks, “Do you want the long or short version of your answer?” Sometimes I take the long version, because along the way you get such wisdom.

APOSTLE A. TETSOLA: Many years later I received mentorship from Apostle A. Tetsola. His ability to teach the word of God with revelation and to write books with his prophetic edge is outstanding. I received a second ordination to the office of Prophetess at his church in New York. Apostle Tetsola and his wife have done tremendous work all over the world. The revelation God has given him is supernatural.
